I Have No Plan To Follow Atiku Out Of APC - Adamawa Gov
The political transfer window has been thrown wide open.
On Friday, one of the most sought after political players former Vice President Atiku Abubakar jumped ship.
He resigned from the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) and may most likely declare for the People's Democratic Party (PDP).
Atiku is a major political giant and naturally it is expected that his political family members will follow suit.
But one of his political children and Adamawa State Governor Jibrilla Bindow, has disclosed that he has no immediate plans to follow Daddy Atiku out of the ruling All Progressives Congress.
The Adamawa governor said his relationship with the former vice president would remain cordial and mutually beneficial for the foreseeable future.
“The governor was elected under the banner of APC and will continue to remain as APC governor,” Adamawa State Commissioner for Information, Ahmed Sajoh, said.
Sajoh said the APC national leadership, which has reportedly been unsettled by Atiku’s exit on Friday, should show neither fear nor apprehension.
