I Am Surprised 'Living Things' Was Banned - 9ice
He has kept quite over a long time.
9ice has spoken up after the National Broadcasting Commission banned his song Living Things.
The singer in an interview says he was surprised by the ban and that the song was to promote hard work among the youth and not anything illegal.
"My song has been banned again? I am surprised that they banned my songs because most of my music is to inspire the youths to work hard and ensure they do things the right way.
"I don’t sing songs that would encourage anyone to do the wrong thing. I have been in this industry for a while and I know better than to do such, because I know a lot of people look up to me in the society".
The National Broadcasting Commission (NBC), in March placed a ban on works by three of Nigeria’s music artistes, Olamide, Davido and 9ice for an alleged violation of its rules and regulations.
The songs include; Olamide’s Wo and Wavy Level; a remix of Davido’s If and 9ice’s Living Things.
The commission did not give specific reasons for banning these songs.
