Otto Canon was held for 7 days and the experience has remained like a nightmare that has refused to go away.

He was released from the kidnapper's den last week, but he is afraid to step out of his home.

In a post he shared on his Facebook page, the former winner of Gulder Ultimate Search,  Otto Canon says he is still terrified and shocked at being abducted.

"Nothing better describes the valley of the shadow of death like where I've been through ?? It's so ugly and horrible and I'm fear-struck to even step out of the house; I'm terrified; Still in shock.

"THANKSGIVING IS ALL I HAVE TO GIVE TO YOU OH LORD???????????? #Thanksgiving #gratitude#OttoCanon #ThankYouLord #Speechless#Dumbfounded #ShutOfWords," he wrote.

Canon, who was kidnapped by gunmen in Port Harcourt, after returning from a trip to Lagos state for an event, was set free after 7 days.

The elder brother of the 2014 Gulder Ultimate Search winner,  took to social media to inform the public that his brother had returned safely.
