What we have been told is that beneficiaries of the government programme, N-Power are doing great with the stipends they received from the government.

They are now responsible people in their respective homes, they too have contributed a lot to the growth of our economy because they will also empower others which makes the work easier for the government.

If this is so, the beneficiaries will not like the goodies to come to an end soon, will they? So, how do they ensure this continues?

The senior special assistant to the president on job creation Mr. Afolabi Imoukhuede, has provided answers and we are not surprised.

He told the N-power beneficiaries in Oyo state on Friday that if there is continuity in the present administration, permanence is sure in the N-Power programme.

It was the official launch of ‘Build the Future’ in Oyo State and President Buhari was duly represented by Mr. Afolabi Imoukhede.

n-power,build the future

"N-Power program is real and it is not fake, the beneficiaries are not selected based on their religion, political parties, nor because of personalities influence, but based on merit and the passion to empower the teaming unemployed Nigerian youths," he said.

He then used the occasion to urge the beneficiaries to cast their votes for president Buhari so that the continuity of government can give room for continuity of the programme.

"President Buhari believes so much in building the future, and youths are the future of tomorrow, and if you all want this program to continue, then we must all cast our votes for President Buhari.

“Our vote is our power to sustain this program, continuity of government can sustain this programme," Afolabi explained.

The program held at the Agodi Gardens Ibadan, organised by the state Ministry of women affairs, community development, social welfare and poverty alleviation.
