"House of Cards" actor, Kevin Spacey, has revealed that he is gay.

Spacey made this admission while addressing a sexual harassment allegation raised against him by Star Trek: Discovery actor, Anthony Rapp.

In a recent interview, Rapp alleged that Spacey “invited him over to his apartment for a party, and, at the end of the night, picked him up, placed him on his bed, and climbed on top of him, making a sexual advance”.

Rapp says he was only 14 when the incident happened.

Spacey, writing on Twitter, apologized for the incident and claimed he could not remember what happened at the time.

He wrote: "I owe him (Rapp) the sincerest apology for what would have been deeply inappropriate drunken behavior and I am sorry for the feelings he described having carried with him all these years.”

Spacey who has had relationships with both men and women, also used the opportunity to make his sexual orientation public.

“I choose now to live as a gay man”, he said.
