HND Student Lynched To Death For Killing Admission Seeker
When the police or any other security agency stop you on the road, it is only wise to obey.
For Fisayo Olorunfemi, aka Fish, he was reportedly running away from security operatives, and as a result caused the death of more than one person.
Apparently, Fisayo, a HND 2 student of the Federal Polytechnic, Ede had hit someone in the Olowo-Bida area of the town and refused to stop, and while he was being trailed, he caused more havoc.
Angry youths who could not bear the sight of the crushed 18-year-old admission seeker, Islamat Bello, pounced on Fish and lynched him to death.
Islamat was walking by the road side when the car rammed into her.
The incident happened in Ita Oloki, Ede, Osun State on Monday evening.
Apart from the admission seeker, residents said Fisayo, a student of Building Technology,, who drove a Toyota Camry, with number plate AAA 463 DV, killed four persons.
Assistant Commander, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps in charge of Osun West, Hussein Sanusi, told Punch that he was informed that three persons died in the incident.
Also confirming the incident, Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps in Osun State, Peter Oke, said the driver crushed to death a motorcycle rider and a female passenger.
