The music producer admitted that he never signed any contract or wrote an agreement, because he trusted Harrysong.

Harrysong's manager, Desmond Chima in response to the claims said that they were tired of people using the Alterplate Records boss to get undue attention.

Harrysong, who did the song while he was still signed to Five Star Music alongside KCee and Skibii quit the record company over a rift with the management team.

The song to the legendary South African statesman, Nelson Mandela was first released in 2013 a few weeks after Mandela died, and then he Harrysong had further recorded a remake of the song featuring South African rapper, Emtee.
