The long awaited results of the Ekiti state gubernatorial elections are set to be announced after hours of collation.

Our Bounce News political editor who is currently at Ado-Ekiti reports that results from 14 out of the 16 local government areas have been duly collated.

The remaining two local governments, according to Ekiti state Resident Electoral Commisioner, Abdulganiyu Raji would be made available in a few hours.

Ekiti recorded a large voter turnout in the largely peaceful gubernatorial elections. There were however reports that the card reader rejected the voter card of the People's Democratic Party candidate, Prof Kolapo Olusola.

There were also reports of ballot box snatching in Ado Ekiti by the ex-PDP publicity secretary, Dayo Adeyeye.
