After the assessment, the Egyptian FA announced that the Liverpool striker will be fit in three weeks.

It means Salah will miss Egypt's World Cup opener against Uruguay on June 15.

However, he will be fit for their second game against host Russia on June 19 in Saint Petersburg.

Salah was forced off with a shoulder injury during Liverpool's 3-1 Champions League final defeat to Real Madrid on Saturday after tangling with Sergio Ramos.
