Ghana forward Kevin-Prince Boateng has parted ways with La Liga club, Las Palmas.

Las Palmas announced on Wednesday that it has terminated the contract between both parties by mutual agreement.

"Las Palmas and Prince Boateng have reached an agreement to rescind the contract that tied him to the club for the next three seasons," Las Palmas said in a statement.

"Irreversible personal reasons provoked his unexpected departure."

Boateng, who has scored two goals in 15 appearances for Ghana since making his debut in 2010, may return to his birth place Germany to join Eintracht Frankfurt.

The 30-year-old scored 10 goals in 28 games in an impressive solo season in Spain.
