The Peoples Democratic Party is set to make millions of naira from sales of nomination forms to candidates seeking elective positions during the December 9 convention.

The party is expected to make at least N24million from candidates seeking the chairmanship position of the party.

The party has pegged the nomination form for the position at N3million.

So far, eight candidates have signified their intentions to run.

They are former PDP Deputy National Chairman, South West, Olabode George, former Lagos PDP governorship candidate, Jimi Agbaje, former Minister of Sports and Youth Development, Professor Taoheed Adedoja and founder of Daar Communications, Raymond Dokpesi.

Others include, immediate past Deputy National Chairman of the party, Uche Secondus, former Minister of Education, Professor Tunde Adeniran, ex-Oyo governor, Senator Rashidi Ladoja and  Gbenga Daniel, former governor of Ogun State.

The party in a communiqué signed and made available to journalists by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Dayo Adeyeye, fixed nomination form for the Deputy National Chairmanship at N2 million.

Cost of nomination form for the office of the National Secretary is N2 million. All other national officers including the National Publicity Secretary, National Treasurer amongst others will pay the sum of N1.5 million each while ex-officio members will pay N500, 000.
