Falconets midfielder, Peace Efih, has assured fans that her teammates and herself would give their very best to beat Spain in Thursday’s quater-final fixture at the 2018 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in France

The Nigerian ladies needed a late goal to book their place in the knockout stages after holding the Asians to a 1-1 draw in their last Group D encounter on Monday.

Efih also reflects on the dramatic win against the Chinese and praises her teammates for their fighting spirit.

“The match was very important and we wanted to win the match,” Efih told FIFA.com.

“We wanted to make sure we went through, that’s why we fought to the end. In the second half, we just had to push and keep the spirit of the team moving. It’s all about winning, it’s all about fighting to the end.
