Dalandi, while informing the press about his plan to join APC said: “Yes as I am talking to you now, we are on our way to my local government where I will this Tuesday defect to APC, from ward level to local before state.”
He said: “I’m not at loggerhead with anyone, but politics is all about interest, and this is where my people want me to go and bring change in the political landscape of our dear state.”
Danladi, a grassroots politician, started out as a Councillor, then chairman and finally deputy governor of the state during the late Governor Danbaba Suntai administration.
Few days after his swearing-in as the deputy governor, precisely on October 25, 2012, his boss was involved in an unfortunate plane crash near Yola, Adamawa State.
Danladi was impeached by the Taraba State House of Assembly in September 2012 for gross misconduct and engaging in private businesses.
He was elected a senator in 2015 but was sacked by the Supreme Court in July
