Former Super Eagles striker, Emmanuel Emenike has called out Nigeria’s commercial institution, Sterling Bank, over suspicious charges.

On Friday, the Olympiacos forward tweeted how he was charged N70,000 by the bank for maintenance fee.

“Can someone tell me the meaning of maintenance fee in sterling bank. They took 70k out of my account for maintenance fee.”

The 2013 Africa Cup of Nations winner added a screenshot photo of a bank alert he received concerning the deduction.

Nigerian banks have suffered many lashes over inexplicable excessive deductions, and here's hoping the issue is resolved soon.
