Bayern Munich are in the market for a new coach after Carlo Ancelotti was asked to walk away.

One interesting name being linked to the vacant position is former Barcelona Coach, Luis Enrique.

According to Germany-based Spanish reporter Juanma Romero, Bayern Munich have contacted Enrique.

It is not out of place to say Enrique fits the bill as a successor to Ancelotti going by his antecedence at Barcelona and even at Valencia where he cut his teeth as a manager.

In his first year as a Barcelona manager, Enrique led the club to their second treble, with their first treble coming under former Bayern Munich manager Pep Guardiola.

Enrique has a strong personality and there were rumors of conflicts with Lionel Messi in his first year but the club still won nine trophies over three years with Enrique at the helm.

Aside Enrique, Bayern are also reported to be in contract negotiations with Thomas Tuchel, the former Borussia Dortmund manager to takeover after the international break.

For now, there is no official confirmation on who the Bavarian Crown fits.
