English Premier League club Liverpool has finally agreed to allow Philippe Coutinho walk alone.

The Brazilian takes a very long walk walk across Europe to Barcelona for a club record £104 million.

This comes after reports emerged in Spain that the deal has been finalized.

Coutinho has missed Liverpool's last two matches - their English Premier League season opener against Watford on Saturday, and the UEFA Champions League first leg playoff against Hoffenheim on Tuesday.

Barcelona are expected to make the official announcement on Thursday.

Liverpool had rejected bids of £74 million and £90 million initially offered for the player.

Coutinho had also got his formal transfer request rejected by Liverpool, but the Reds soft-pedaled when the player vowed he will not wear the club jersey again.

Liverpool is, however, eyeing a move for Croatia star Ivan Rakitic in a possible exchange.
