The journey to France is set to begin for Nigeria’s U-20 Women national team, the Falconets.

The Confederation of African Football, CAF on Thursday released the route for qualification for aspiring countries on the continent hoping to make it to the U-20 Women’s World Cup billed for France next year.

As already stated, nineteen (19) teams will battle it for the two slots to represent Africa at the final tournament of the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup France 2018.

From the schedule released, the Falconets will be facing Tanzania over two legs, and if they scale that hurdle, they will be facing the winner between Morocco and Senegal.

The qualification process begins with a preliminary round scheduled for the weekend of 21-23 July 2017.

 The two teams to represent Africa will be known at the weekend of 26-28 January 2018.
