Fearless Cult Boys Steal Offering From Pastor
Pastor Suoyo of Living Free Ministry in Bayelsa had prayed for his members who gave their offerings during church service, but he was not aware that the devourer was waiting near by.
He had ended the service and was on his way home when he walked into the hands of some cult boys.
In the past one week, activities of cultists have increased in Swali market area of Bayelsa State and they are having a filed day.
After some members of a yet to be identified cult group killed a rival cult member on Sunday, they barricaded a major road near Swali market, harassed and robbed passers-by of their mobile phones, money, wrist watches, wedding rings and other valuables.
Pastor Suoyo was among those robbed.
He had the offering he had collected in church with him, and the fearless cult members robbed him of the money.
"Those demons stopped me on my way back from church, searched my pockets and made away with the sum of 8,355 Naira being offering realised from service.
"May God forgive them." he prayed.
Activities of different cult groups battling for supremacy have increased in the area and residents of former Air Force Road, Transformer Road and Sand Road, all within Swali axis, are pleading with the Bayelsa State Government and Security Agencies to act swiftly and rescue them from the hands of the armed bandits.
One of the residents of Transformer Road, who fears he may be attacked if his name is revealed, told Bounce News what some of their concerns were.
"We know these boys but cannot says anything because, the police will reveal our Identities to them.
"They will come and slaughter us.
"They beat us, rape our daughters in our presence and rob us of our valuables.
"I have personally lost hope in the Police.
"God will protect us," he said.
Some traders in Swli market also pleaded for adequate security measures at the market on Thursdays being the major market day.
The resurgence of Secret Cult clashes within the state capital in one week, has claimed the lives of at least 5 young men.
