It's back to game for FC IfeanyiUbah as they will on Wednesday April 19, 2017, host Shooting Stars of Ibadan at the FC IfeanyiUbah International Stadium Nnewi.

This will be their last game of the first stanza of the season before the anticipated mid-season break.

Just before the match, the Anambra Warriors engaged R and S Everflow FC last Friday and had to wait till two minutes from time to get the crucial win that takes them to the third round of the Anambra State Challenge Cup.

The match gave the team's technical unit an opportunity to rejig the starting 11.

The win came with a price as the Warriors will have to be without Ghanaian fullback Kojo Baah for about a month after landing awkwardly in the process of keeping the ball in play and twisting his ankle during the game against Everflow.

A win for the Anambra Warriors will make it six games unbeaten in the league, and seven in all competitions.

FC IfeanyiUbah are currently 8th on the NPFL log with 25 points earned in 18 matches, while their opponents (3SC) are currently 13th on the NPFL log having collected 22 points in 18 matches played.

“It has been an interesting first half of the league season with its ups and downs especially with the journey on the road. We've learnt our lessons from the outcome and we will continue to push hard to get the results.

“The game on Wednesday is not different, we will prepare for it in all segments as we want to get all the three points available and further strengthen our resolve and current position," FC IfeanyiUbah coach Yaw Preko told
