Fayose Reacts To Presence Of Niger Rep. Govs In Buhari Kano Campaign
The former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose, is a die-hard critic of President Muhammadu Buhari.
He has maintained his stance after some governors from Niger Republic attended Buhari's campaign rally in Kano, Fayose has shared his opinion about that occasion.
Governors Issa Moussa of Zinder and Zakiri Umar of Maradi were in Kano on Thursday and were at the venue of the rally where President Buhari also raised the hand of Governor Abdullahi Ganduje as the governorship candidate of his party.
Governor Ganduje had become popular after a video he appeared in, stuffing bribe money in dollars into his 'agbada' went viral.
Describing the event, Fayose, who is also standing trial for allegedly benefiting from arms deal money that Colonel Sambo Dasuki shared prior to the 2015 general elections, said it was a gathering of the corrupt and a celebration of corruption.
"The grandfather of Corruption Family of Nigeria went to Kano today in continuation to celebrate the exploits of one of his children.
"Siblings of the Kano child in whom Baba Corruption is well pleased also came from neighbouring country to join in the celebration of corruption," Mr Fayose wrote on his Twitter page.
