Fayose Has Few Words For Buhari And Obasanjo
Reactions are already trailing the war of words brewing between a former President of Nigeria, Dr. Olusengun Obasanjo and President Muhammadu Buhari.
President Buhari had taken the first shot at the former President on Tuesday, even though he did not mention his name when he made the statement that has now drawn a response from the former leader.
He had mentioned a popular claim about how over $15 billion was spent in the power sector without Nigerians having the light to show for it.
But after that comment, the former leader responded, describing the President as an incompetent man that gives attention to beer parlour gist.
“Is it not beneath the dignity of the exalted office he holds to join the chorus of beer parlour gossips? Dr. Obasanjo asked.
This brewing war of words has caught the attention of the Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose, who has always found fault the activities of the President and his party.
For him, it is already a brickbat affair and he is praying that it will continue.
"I'm enjoying this latest brickbats between President Buhari & Ex-President Obasanjo.
"They should keep exposing themselves for Nigerians to know what they have been hiding.
"Nigerians should remember I warned that those who brought Buhari will regret entrusting him with power," he wrote on his Twitter page.
