Veteran actress, Fathia Balogun posted a motivational statement about friendship on her Instagram page and a lesser known actress by the name Dayo Amusa jumps on it firing “Practice what you preach!”

Are you for real? On social media?

Ironically, someone commented of the post reminding the Amusa lady how she had earlier posted that younger ones in Nollywood don’t respect their elders.

Does she now deserve to be respected if at all she is an elder? Hasn’t she shown why the so-called younger ones do not respect her?

When have seen Ufoma McDermott insulting Chioma Apotha on social media or Kiki Omeili and Omoni Oboli dragging matters on Instagram?

We hardly see irritating lousy behaviors like that from English speaking Nollywood actors and this is not because they have no issues, but they understand personal matters should remain so.

You can argue that the Yoruba genre of Nollywood has more talented actors, but it is obvious they will continue to play second fiddle to their English-speaking counterparts.

This has nothing to do with language because many of these Yoruba ladies can speak decent English too.

The problem is their lack of discipline and respect for one another.

The last time it was Mercy Aigbe and Toyin Abraham disturbing IG peace and we need to let these guys know its irritating.

The good thing this time though is that Madam Fathia did not respond to her. Good way to show maturity.
