Alex Iwobi was on fire on Monday night as Arsenal came from a goal down to defeat Leicester City 3-1 in their Premier League clash at the Emirates.

Making his fourth league start of the season, the energy of the Nigerian was quite crucial for Unai Emery's side as they dominated midfield and got the ball forward quickly through fast, incisive breaks.

And after receiving the official man-of-the-match award, Iwobi decided to give his award to his Dad.

Iwobi Award

Conducting a mock interview on his Instagram Story, the 22-year-old presented his old man with the trophy, and said: "Congratulations daddy, you are man of the match. Any words to say?"

Iwobi senior took the award in his stride, saying: "Thank you. I had a good game and I was expecting to be man of the match. No apologies to anybody."

Arsenal will be hoping to continue their immaculate recent form against Sporting Lisbon in the Europa League on Thursday night before facing Crystal Place on Sunday in the Premier League.
