Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode has again attacked the president accusing him of “devouring his own children”.

In a tweet on Friday, October 20, 2017, Fani Kayode said Buhari is persecuting some politicians in his own party, the All Progressives Congress (APC).

He said APC chieftain Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Senate President Bukola Saraki and former Vice President Abubakar Atiku have all suffered prosecution from Buhari.

“NBC has shut down Radio Continental, owned by @BolaAhmedTinubu. SEC is investigating Oando, an oil company owned by Tinubu's cousin.

“They humiliated @bukolasaraki, they have started on @atiku and now they are getting set for @BolaAhmedTinubu. @MBuhari is devouring his own children.” He wrote on his twitter handle.

This is not the first time Fani-Kayode is attacking the president on different issues and decisions taken by the presidency.

On October 16, Fani-Kayode criticized Buhari’s comment about killings in Plateau State.

The president had describing the killing as “madness gone too far” and ordered security agencies to ensure there are no reprisal attacks.

Fani-Kayode wondered why a president will make such statement without commiserating with the family of the dead.

“40 innocent Christians, including women and children, were butchered by Muslim Fulani herdsmen in Plateau state yesterday (October 16).

“@MBuhari has offered no commiserations to the families of the dead.

“Instead he says there must be no reprisals against his Fulani kinsmen. Is that a President?"
