Tope Oshin’s  "Up North" movie will be screened at  Facebook Menlo Park headquarters in honour of  Black History Month in America.

Black History Month is an annual celebration that recognizes significant events in  American black history and its culture.

The film will be shown on Wednesday, February 20, 2019.

Film director, Tope Oshin shared the good news on her Twitter handle.

“Dare. To. Dream. Make it big while you’re at it. Pray. Then work like crazy! We are screening #UpNorth at Facebook HQ! Sooo excited Y'all!” she tweeted.

“Up North” explores love, friendship and family politics, all of which collide, creating memories to last a lifetime.

It tells the story of a young rebellious heir (Banky W) who gets sent to Bauchi for his NYSC assignment as a punishment for defying his father.

The movie stars Adesua Etomi, Banky Wellington, Ibrahim Suleiman, Kanayo O Kanayo and Michelle Dede.
