Chelsea had to wait till extra time to beat Leicester City 2-1 and qualify for the semi final of the English FA Cup.

Three Nigerians were in the starting lineup, as Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho featured for Leicester, while Victor Moses, who was booked in the 89th minute, played for Chelsea for all duration.

Alvaro Morata had put Chelsea ahead in the 42nd minute as the Antonio Conte side are seeking to play a second consecutive final.

But Leicester kept their FA Cup dreams alive when Jamie Vardy bundled home on 76 minutes to force an additional half-hour.

Pedro rose first to head home N’Golo Kante’s cross ahead of goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel in the first half of extra time.

Chelsea now joins Manchester United, Tottenham and Southampton in the last four.
