Defending champions, Chelsea are out of the race for 2019 FA Cup no thanks to the goal and assist provided by Paul Pogba on Monday night to hand Manchester United a 2-0 win and by extension a quarter final ticket.

Despite Chelsea's vastly improved showing at Stamford Bridge on Monday night, it was United who made the most of their chances in front of goal - with Pogba the architect of both goals.

The Frenchman first delivered a superb ball into Ander Herrera, whose headed in the opener in the 31st minute before Pogba started and finished off the move that saw United double their lead seconds before the break.

With Chelsea off the way, Manchester United have Wolverhampton Wanderers next in the quarter finals.

The quarter-finals are scheduled to take place between Friday 15 March and Monday 18 March.
