Nigerian defender, Efe Ambrose, scored one of the goals as his Scottish club Hibernian rallied from two goals down to beat Greek club Asteras Tripolis 3-2 in the first leg of their Europa  League, second qualifying round encounter on Thursday night.

Giorgos Kiriskopoulous netted in goals at the 12th and 35th minutes for Asteras Tripolis.

Ambrose started the comeback for Hibernian by reducing the deficit in the 64th minute, his second goal of the competition.

David Gray equalised for Hibernian in the 76th minute, while Florian Camberi netted the winning goal two minutes into stoppage time.

Ambrose and his teammates still have a lot to do in the second leg having conceded two goals at home in the first leg.
