Arsenal striker Alex Iwobi is delighted with the win over Cologne in the UEFA Europa League on Thursday.

Iwobi was on the starting lineup for Arsenal on Thursday and played for 68 minutes before being replaced with Jack Wilshere as the side began the 2017/2018 UEFA Europa League Group H opener with a 3-1 comeback win against Bundesliga side FC Cologne.

“Nice Way To Start Our @EuropaLeague Campaign With A Win ?? #AFCvCOL.” Iwobi tweeted on Friday.

The 21-year-old pulled out of Nigeria’s World Cup qualifiers against Cameroon played in Uyo and Yaounde early in September due to injury, and the game against Cologne was his first start since returning.

Arsenal will next play against Chelsea in the English Premier League on Sunday.
