Chelsea have finally broken the jinx that has plagued them in recent games as they recorded their first win in 2018 and it was in emphatic style; beating Brighton 4-0 at the Amex Stadium on Saturday

Eden Hazard scored twice while Willian and Victor Moses contributed a goal each to give the Blues a big win.

Moses' goal was his first in almost 14 months in the Premier League.

Hazard set the tone for the day; netting just the third minute before Willian finished off an impressive team attack to double Chelsea's advantage three minutes later.

Brighton had two penalty appeals turned down and, with 13 minutes left on the clock, Hazard made a fine run into the box and bagged his second of the afternoon before Victor Moses added a late fourth to move Chelsea level on points with second-placed Manchester United.

Brighton, meanwhile, will be nervously looking over their shoulders as they remain just three points above the drop zone following the defeat.
