Nigeria international, Victor Moses returned to action on Wednesday night for Chelsea as the Blues secured a lone goal win over Swansea City.

Moses who has been out of action for almost two months was introduced into the midweek clash in the 74th minute as he replaced Davide Zappacosta.

German defender, Antonio Ruediger was the unlikely hero who scored Chelsea's solitary goal.

The goal by Ruediger came 10 minutes into the second half as Swansea were finally broken down after intially proving to be a hard nut to crack.

The game in London was not without its drama as Antonio Conte was sent off just before half-time for a bizarre tantrum at the fourth official.

The sending off of Conte gave Swansea a glimmer of hope that they could something from London but at the end they left empty-handed.
