Victor Moses opted to quit the Nigeria national team so that he can focus on his club career at Chelsea and his young family.

Three-four months down the line, Moses has been strapped firmly to the Chelsea bench as Antonio Conte’s successor, Maurizio Sarri just doesn't fancy the former Nigeria international.

This development has sparked up rumours and insinuations that Moses may be looking for an exit in the January transfer window from Stamford Bridge.

Moses was a wing-back under Conte. But the arrival of Sarri has seen Chelsea abandon the use of wing-backs and as such, the Nigerian star has found himself on the sidelines this season.

He is considering a move in the January window, as per a report from the London Evening Standard.

Sarri’s Chelsea play with a back four, meaning Moses’ position under Conte, right wing-back, is no longer in existence and as such, he’s found his time limited to cameo appearances as a winger.

However, with the likes of Eden Hazard, Willian and Pedro all ahead of him in the pecking order to play as a winger, Moses doesn’t seem like he’ll get much of a look in.

Whether Sarri would let the Nigerian star leave in January is not yet known, but Moses could push for a move if he does not feature more between now and then.

West Ham and surprisingly Manchester United are some the likely destinations for Moses going by reports from England.
