Super Eagles star Isaac Success came in as a 57th minute substitute but he could not do anything to stop Liverpool from extending their unbeaten run in the Premier League to 13 matches as Watford were trounced 3-0 at Vicarage Road on Saturday.

It was 10 minutes after Success came on to the pitch that the Reds found the breakthrough, with Mohamed Salah opening the scoring against what had been an obdurate Watford defence.

Trent Alexander-Arnold doubled the lead with a fine free kick less than 10 minutes later, but Watford were offered a glimmer of hope when returning Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson was sent off eight minutes from time.

However, it was the visitors who added to the scoring despite their numerical disadvantage, with Roberto Firmino getting in on the act at the end of a quick counter-attack to wrap up a victory which sees Liverpool remain two points off Premier League leaders Manchester City, who were also big away winners with a 4-0 triumph over West Ham United.
