Nigeria international Wilfred Ndidi was the hero for Leicester City on Saturday as his deflected late leveller denied West Ham what would have been a hard fought win, after playing more than half the game with ten men.

Fabian Balbuena's first goal for the club gave the Hammers the lead after half an hour, and they held on until Ndidi's strike a minute from time, despite having captain Mark Noble sent off before the interval.

The goal against West Ham on Saturday was Ndidi’s first in the League since he last scored in the 3-0 defeat of Watford in May 2017.

With the solitary point earned from Saturday's outing at the King Power Stadium, Leicester City are now 12th on the log with 13 points from 10 games.
