Leicester were 2-0 winners over Wolverhampton Wanderers inside the King Power stadium.

Matt Doherty's 29th minute own goal gave Leicester the lead before James Maddison scored a second in the first 45 minutes to seal victory.

After the break, Jamie Vardy was sent off for a raking challenge on Doherty, catching the back of his knee with his studs.

Wolves hit the woodwork three times but could not find the breakthrough on a frustrating afternoon.

With eight minutes left on the clock, Kelechi Iheanacho was thrown into action for Maddison, but that could not change the result of the game.
