Sadio Mane on Sunday became the first Liverpool player ever in the Premier League era to score for the Reds in three consecutive opening games of the season.

Mane and Mo Salah continued from where they stopped last season; scoring the goals as Liverpool beat West Ham 4-0 in their season opener at Anfield.

The African duo gave the Merseyside giants a two-goal lead at the break, while Mane added a second shortly after the restart before Daniel Sturridge scored a late fourth with his first touch.

West Ham had their moments in the North-West, but the Hammers were comfortably beaten as their conceded four goals against Liverpool for the fourth game in a row.

With the big win, Liverpool are top on the log after the games played so far.
