EPL: Man United Fight Back Twice To Force Arsenal Draw
Manchester United came from behind twice to force Arsenal to a 2-2 draw at Old Trafford in a midweek English Premier League tie.
Arsenal had to wait for just 26 minutes before they broke the deadlock through Shkodran Mustafi’s header from a corner.
Mustafi’s free header could have been a simple save for De Gea but the ball slips out of his hands and crosses the line before Herrera could clear away.
Four minutes later, Manchester United responded, and it was Anthony Martial who got the equalizer.
A free kick from Marcus Rojo was well saved by goalkeeper Leno. But Herrera reacted quickest to the rebound and his ball across was finished off by Martial. His eighth of the season.
Again, Arsenal took the lead for the second time on the night, thanks to a 68th minute effort from Alexandre Lacazette.
But yet again, United bounced back quickly, and this time it was Jesse Lingard who drew level just one minute later.
