Leicester City striker Riyad Mahrez is expected to undergo medical at English Premier League champion's, Manchester City.

Manager Pep Guardiola has been a long-time admirer of the Algeria international who won the EPL trophy with Leicester City three seasons ago.

According to Daily Mail, Manchester City have agreed a £60million deal, with the winger now set to undergo a medical in the next 48 hours.

The report says talks have been completed between the two clubs, and the 27-year-old's big move is set to be completed in the coming days following the conclusion of his medical.

City tried to sign him on deadline day just six months ago, but were rebuffed at the eleventh hour by the Foxes as they tried to recoup close to £100m for their player.

Mahrez is yet to return for pre-season training with Leicester after being granted extra leave, and he is now unlikely to reunite with his Foxes team-mates.
