Though Chelsea has one game in hand against West Ham on Sunday, Liverpool’s high goal margin against Southampton may see the Reds stay on top after Match Day six.

Wesley Hoedt’s 10th minute own goal put Liverpool ahead before Joel Matip’s header put the home team two goals ahead after 21 minutes.

Mohamed Salah scored the third goal for Liverpool in the 45th minute to see Jurgen Klopp side maintain a 100% record in the EPL this season.
