Nigeria international, Alex Iwobi returned to first-team training on Thursday and is expected to be included in the squad for Friday night's match against Liverpool.

Iwobi was missing in action through injury as the Gunners got a win over West Ham on Wednesday but he is now in the frame to get a chance to face the Reds.

Aside from Iwobi, Francis Coquelin, who limped off in the Carabao Cup quarter-final, also returned to training on Thursday and Arsene Wenger is understandably glad he has more options for Friday's crucial clash at the Emirates.
