Nigeria international, Alex Iwobi has given his verdict on Arsenal’s 1-1 draw against Liverpool at the Emirates stadium on Saturday; describing the stalemate as a fair result

James Milner gave Liverpool lead after Leno failed to deal with cross in the 61st minute but Alexander Lacazette got Arsenal back on level terms after he latched on to a delightful pass from Iwobi to finish with a stunner.

The draw ensured Arsenal remain unbeaten in their last 14 games and also preserved Liverpool’s unbeaten start to the Premier League this season.

“It was a difficult game with both attacking teams and I guess the fair result was the draw,” Iwobi told BT Sports after the game.”

 “We are giving extra intensity and you can see the manager demands a lot not just in games but on the training pitch and it is paying off.”

“People say juice is banned but we do get it in the mornings, so he is not too strict! It is not just the nutrition it is the attention to detail and tactics and you can see we are enjoying it.”

Arsenal host Sporting CP in midweek in the Europa League before looking to extend their unbeaten run in the Premier League next weekend against Wolves.
