Arsenal will begin their 2018/2019 English Premier League campaign with a home fixture against champions Manchester City on August 11.

In the concluded season, Arsenal finished a distant 6th place behind City, Manchester United, Tottenham, Liverpool and Chelsea.

It will be the first time in 22 years the London club will meet City without Arsene Wenger as manager after the Frenchman resigned at the end of last season.

Unai Emery has since been appointed to replace Wenger.

In other opening day fixtures, Manchester United will host Leicester City, while Chelsea travel to Huddersfield.

UEFA Champions League finalist, Liverpool, will host West Ham United, while newly promoted side, Fulham, will play host to Crystal Palace.
