Watford continued their winning streak after three English Premier League games this season.

Crystal Palace was the latest victim on Sunday as the tie ended 2-1 in favour of Watford.

Roberto Pereyra put smiles on the faces of home fans at Vicarage Road when he broke the deadlock eight minutes into the restart.

Watford went two goals up, thanks to Jose Holebas’ 71st minute strike before Wilfried Zaha reduced the deficit seven minutes later.

Nigerian striker Isaac Success only saw one minute of action as he was introduced into the game in the 90th minute for Troy Deeney.

The encounter produced six yellow cards as referee Anthony Taylor (England) was on top of the situation.

Watford now have nine points from three matches, and are seated 3rd on the EPL table behind Liverpool and Chelsea who have superior goal difference.
