Super Eagles striker Kelechi Iheanacho was on target and provided an assist as his English Premier League club, Leicester City came from one goal down to beat host West Brom 4-1 on Saturday.

While Iheanacho came on in the 60th minute for Shinji Okazaki in the English Premier League tie, compatriot Wilfred Ndidi played for all 90 minutes but was booked 17 minutes from time.

West Brom had taken the lead after eight minutes at The Hawthorns, but Jamie Vardy drew level for Leicester 13 minutes later to ensure a 1-1 draw at half time.

Riyad Mahrez, through a cross from Iheanacho, put the visitors ahead 17 minutes after the restart before the Nigeria international extended their lead in the 76th minute when he headed in Ben Chilwell's cross.

Vicente Iborra put the icing on the cake in the 90th minute to ensure Leicester end the game 4-1 over their host.

Leicester City is now placed 8th on the league table, with 40 points from 30 matches.
