The Super Eagles duo of kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi as well as their Leicester City teammates will be gunning for three Premier League points on Saturday when they entertain Everton at the King Power Stadium.

The Foxes have been inconsistent this season, with the supporters hoping Claude Puel’s men can put together a run of wins in the lead-up to Christmas.

The Leicester boss has confirmed that midfield pair Matty James and Demarai Gray will both sit out of the clash against Everton, with the pair not fit to feature.

“Matty James is not available, he’s not match fit,” Puel is quoted as saying by the club’s official website.

“Demarai Gray also [misses out], of course, but he’s improving. In a few days, he will start running.”

Leicester’s style has certainly changed since Puel has taken over, with the French manager urging his side to keep the ball rather than play on the counter attack.

The Foxes face an Everton side that also like to play expansive football under Marco Silva and as such it could well be an open and exciting game on Saturday.

Three points for Leicester would be a boost going into the international break and lift the club towards the top six.

Everton have a poor record at Leicester, winning just one of their last eight meetings stretching back to 1998. Given the two team’s form, it is expected that Iheanacho and his teammates should be able to get the three points on offer.
