The Nigerian duo of Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi were in action on Saturday as Leicester City got a stunning result away to Chelsea at the Stamford Bridge.

Jamie Vardy scored the only goal as Leicester defeated Chelsea to relieve some of the pressure on embattled boss Claude Puel.

Vardy got the all-important goal for the Foxes after Goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga produced an outstanding save to deny Wilfred Ndidi from scoring late in the first half

Ndidi got a yellow card in the match for a foul on Eden Hazard.

Iheanacho only got a cameo role as he replaced Leicester City's match-winner Jamie Vardy in the 84th minute.

On his part, former Nigeria international Victor Moses was not in Chelsea's matchday squad as Maurizio Sarri suffered his first home defeat with the Blues.

Leicester hadn’t won at Stamford Bridge for 18 years but were good value for Saturday’s succes.

It is now three losses in the last six Premier League games for Sarri’s men, who remain 11 points behind leaders Liverpool heading into Christmas.
