Kelechi Iheanacho put up an underwhelming display in his first Premier League start for Leicester City on Monday in the game against West Brom.

The Nigerian star was largely anonymous during his 74 minutes of action at the King Power Stadium as the Foxes had to rely on Riyad Mahrez for the equaliser that saw them force out a 1-1 draw against the Baggies.

Nacer Chadli's free kick had looked like being enough to hand the Baggies a first win since August, but Mahrez levelled things up 10 minutes from time to ensure that both Leicester and West Brom's winless streak extended to six league games.

The result means that the Foxes remain in the relegation zone, now two points from safety, whereas West Brom move above Southampton into the top half of the table.

For many, it will not be surprising to see Iheanacho return to the bench having failed to live up to expectation.
