The 'new' Manchester United team has done it again and the results that they are posting are no longer looking like a fluke.

In the Super Sunday Premier League clash, David De Gea showed world class stuff as he made save after save at Wembley to ensure that Manchester United secure a 1-0 win over hard-fighting Tottenham Hotspur.

Marcus Rashford's first half goal made it six wins out of six at Manchester United for caretaker manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

However, David de Gea's heroics was the bigger attraction as the keeper made a string of second half saves to maintain his side's advantage.

Those saves proved very vital to the three point secured by the Red Devils on Sunday.

The Spanish goalkeeper made as much 11 saves to keep Spurs at bay as the hosts were made to rue a plethora of missed chances, squandering the opportunity to move above Manchester City into second place in the process.

The only top-flight league match in which David de Gea has made more saves than he did versus Tottenham Hotspur today (11) was against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on December 2nd 2017 (14)

Arsenal's defeat at West Ham meant victory for United at Wembley has brought them level with Unai Emery's men in fifth place, while Tottenham were denied the chance to move up to second with a win.
