Cardiff City recorded a massive 2-1 victory over Southampton to get off the bottom three and move to 15th spot on the English Premier League table.

The massive away victory at the St. Mary's Stadium came barely 48 hours after Emiliano Sala’s body was found in wreckage of his crashed plane.

Sala did not kick a ball at Cardiff after signing a record deal from Nantes before boarding an ill-fated plane.

After a barren first half on Saturday, Sol Bamba put the visitors ahead in the 69th minute. But Jack Stephens canceled the goal for Southampton in the 90th minute.

However, Cardiff did not give up on hope and that paid off when Camarasa held off the defender to lay it off to Kenneth Zohore who scored from the centre of the box into the bottom right corner in the 93rd minute to pull them out of the bottom three.
