Burnley came from behind to deny Manchester City victory in an English Premier League clash on Saturday.

The game ended 1-1.

Sitting on the table with 68 points from 25 matches, Manchester City were hoping for a continued win in front of over 21,000 spectators at Turf Moor.

Good for the Pep Guardiola side, they broke the deadlock in the 22nd minute when Burnley failed to close Danilo down and the Brazilian welcome the opportunity to shoot, moving the ball onto his right foot and curling a magnificent strike beyond Nick Pope into the top right corner.

Manchester City took the lead into the break, but their host were more revived and attack minded on resumption for the second half.

The EPL leaders were coasting to victory, only for Johann Berg Gudmundsson to break their heart when he equalized with just eight minutes from time.

Jack Cork slipped the ball back to Matthew Lowton, who swung in a gorgeous cross from deep. Gudmundsson surges past the flat-footed Kyle Walker down the left to meet Lowton's ball and turned it beyond Ederson, who could not get enough on it.

City, still sitting on the table, now have 69 points from 26 matches, while Burnley, on 7th position, have 36 points from same number of matches.
